Sheana Ochoa received a Masters in Professional Writing at the University of Southern California. Her work has been published in The Los Angeles Times, AlterNet, Salon, Film International, The London Economic, CNN.com, The Markaz Review, and Bitter Lemons, among other outlets. She publishes poetry and can be read most recently in the Tahoma Literary Review, Catamaran and The Best American Poetry 2018.

Ms. Ochoa inaugurated the One-Act Play Festival at the Stella Adler Academy, where she directed her one-act play, The Masterpiece. In 2012, she became a founding member of  Freedom Theatre West, co-producing their premier production Sarah's War.

Ms. Ochoa is the author of  Stella! Mother of Modern Acting, the first biography on legendary actor and acting teacher Stella Adler. Enjoy the blog for the book by clicking here.
